The Dickson
City Community Ambulance
Acquires Quick
Response Vehicle
As the new year began, the Dickson City
Community Ambulance placed into service an additional vehicle to help us
respond to emergencies. A 2007 Ford Expedition EL, stocked with an
array of BLS equipment, and staffed by least one EMT will be available to
provide aid at an emergency until an ambulance arrives. Additional
uses for the vehicle will include transportation for members to training
events, providing rehab operations without taking an ambulance out of
service, improve our ability to respond to emergencies in adverse weather
conditions, etc. During the next few weeks this vehicle will be
licensed and lettered, and will then be known as "QRV 23".
